Mrs. Chris Coviello currently serves as the Director of Development for Epiphany Cathedral Parish and School. Prior to assuming this position in 2000, she worked as a marketing and public relations executive and freelance journalist.
The Development Office coordinates all aspects of fundraising, including annual giving, major gifts, planned giving and endowed giving. This includes a scholarship and tuition assistance program for the school. In addition to fundraising, the Development office assists with the extensive communications and marketing programs for both the parish and school and enrollment management for the school.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Dayton in Ohio with a major in communications and minors in both marketing and journalism. She also holds a Certification in Fundraising Management from the Indiana University Lily School of Philanthropy. Chris has worked as a consultant with Catholic School Management and is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP).
Chris attended Catholic schools from kindergarten through college and she has made it her life’s mission to ensure Catholic education not on survives but thrives.
A native of Ohio, Chris has lived in Florida since 1989. She and her husband, Mike, have three children who all graduated from Epiphany Cathedral School and Cardinal Mooney High School. She has one daughter who is a medical student at University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine, a daughter who is an Advertising student at the Florida State University and a son who is an Illustration major at Ringling College of Art and Design.
