Parent Associations
Welcome!!
The Epiphany Home and School Association is planning a great year for all of our families! As always, our main goal is to assist and support the students, faculty, staff and administration of the school. The objective is done through:
- Fund raising: financial assistance for school programs, equipment, and field trips.
- Social events: opportunities for students and their families to meet each other and have fun!
- Promotion: occasions to endorse Epiphany in the community.
We are always looking for volunteers to ensure that all our endeavors are successful and fun!
Please find below a list of our planned events for the upcoming school year. For further information, contact the chairperson of the event (given in parentheses) or any member of the Home and School Board, listed in the directory and at the back of this packet. Let's make it a great year together!
YEAR ROUND ACTIVITIES
Box Tops for Education (Katrien Etz)
Each class collects box tops from specially marked General Mills products which are redeemed for 10 cents per box top by General Mills.
Room Parent (Coordinator- Katrien Etz)
Parents from each class are selected by the teacher to help with classroom activities. They are also called upon to help relay information and coordinate help with the Home and School Board.
Church Bulletin Board (Marie Boone)
Beginning with the start of the school year, each class will have a month to have featured art work and/or photos in the church vestibule bulletin board.
Friday Folders (Kim Sullivan & Helen Flynn & Marie Boone)
Each Friday, school-wide information originating from the office will be placed in a folder and sent home with your youngest child in the family. (Classroom information will continue to be sent home by the classroom teacher.) The folder should be signed by a parent/guardian and returned to the teacher on the following Monday. This should serve two purposes:
- The elimination of duplicate letters, flyers, etc. from multiple children in the family, and
- The assurance of accurate communication between office and home.
All information that is sent home from Home and School will be clearly marked on the letter/flyer and will always have a contact number.
Scripps Gift Cards (Damasa Drier & Brenda Armstrong)
The Script program allows us to purchase script gift cards for everyday expenses like food, clothing, and entertainment while earning a percentage of each dollar. Scrip is "no-selling" fundraising. More information will follow in your Friday folder.
