Pre-School

The goal of the Epiphany Early Childhood program are to ensure the development of the whole child by nurturing the life of Christian faith, which leads to a genuine respect for God, self, and others.  This program is designed to help each child develop socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically.  we aim to achieve these goals through the use of developmentally appropriate materials and activities, taking into account each child's individual development, interests, and cultural background.


Mission Statement:

Epiphany Early Childhood Center in concert with Epiphany Cathedral School provides excellence in education, which nurtures a loving relationship with God and builds a caring community that serves others. 

Accreditation:

We are fully accredited through the Florida Catholic Conference, and we are members of the National Catholic Education Association (NCEA).

 

Certification:

Teachers hold bachelor's or master's degrees and are certified through the State of Florida.  Teacher assistants hold either CDAs or higher degrees.  Most are members of ACEI, which is an early childhood professional organization.

Requirements:

Children must be 3 or 4 by September 1st of the current school year to enter.  Tiny Tigers must turn 3 years old between September - January of the current school year and be fully potty trained; no bottles or pacifiers.  Birth certificate, immunization record, current health exam and other documentation required as per registration packet.

All programs run August through May/ early June on the 180 day school schedule.

Registration Fee:  $180 per child

We are a VPK provider / specified hours.  Please inquire.

Arrangements for 5 days, 3 days or 2 days per week can be chosen for Tiny Tigers & 3 year olds.  Junior Kindergarten for 4 year old children is a full time program with some limited half-day offerings available.

                    Children's Aerobics (Tigercise) offered several times per month.

                    Spanish and Guest Readers also offered several times a month.
